This Cookie Policy explains how Piicode Technologies Private Limited ("Piicode", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://piicode.com (the "Website"). It forms part of our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally and what rights you have.

02What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website, or a service it uses, recognise your browser on later visits. Similar technologies work in a comparable way, such as your browser's local storage and scripts that read information about your device.

First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting. Third-party cookies are set by another service, such as an analytics provider.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may also set short-lived security cookies to protect the Website from abuse. These are strictly necessary and are not used to track you.

05Google Analytics

With your consent, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you reached the Website (such as a search engine or a link), your approximate location, and your device and browser type. We see this only as aggregated reports, and we do not use it to identify you.

If you decline, or have not chosen yet, Google Analytics sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device. Google may still receive basic signals from your visit without any identifier, such as the page viewed and your consent choice, which it uses to estimate overall traffic.
Advertising features are off. Google's advertising signals are disabled, and we do not use analytics data for advertising or share it with advertisers.
Retention. Google Analytics keeps the data it collects for 14 months, after which it is deleted.
Transfers. Google may process this data outside your country, including in the United States. See International data transfers in our Privacy Policy for how we protect it.

Google's own use of the data is described in its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can also block Google Analytics on every website with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

06Managing your choice

On our Website. Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page to allow or decline analytics cookies at any time. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
In your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you clear your browser data, we will ask for your choice again.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. We do not set analytics cookies unless you choose Allow, whatever signal your browser sends.

Blocking strictly necessary technologies may stop parts of the Website, such as the contact form, from working.

07Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if we add, remove or change any cookies, and post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. If we add a new kind of non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent again before setting it.
